In an major announcement from the Kerala’s cinema world, the legendary Mohanlal’s film, the emotional film “Hridayapoorvam”, has roped in Malavika in the leading female role, making it her first leading role paired with a legendary artist.
Rising sensation Malavika Mohanan, the versatile performer, renowned for starring in a variety of South Indian cinema, is gearing up to create an impact in the Hindi cinema space and will soon enter the Telugu movie scene in the horror-romance entertainer, her next big project, “Raja Saab”.
This time around, Sundar C is directing “Mookuthi Amman 2.” The original film, which humorously critiqued godsmen and superstitious practices, was directed by RJ Balaji. The much-anticipated sequel to the humorous film “Mookuthi Amman” (titled “Ammoru Thalli” in Telugu), starring the beloved iconic actress Nayanthara, is in the works.
*Thandel* is presented by the renowned Allu Aravind, with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the main roles. The film is under the direction of filmmaker Chandoo Mondeti, with background score composed by DSP.
With “Mookuthi Amman 2,” Sundar C aims to highlight his capabilities in producing large-scale entertainment. Initially, Sundar C had intended to make a big-budget film with Ravi Mohan, but those plans were shelved for various reasons. Unlike its predecessor, this sequel will see a theatrical release. The film is being produced by Vels Film International, Tollywood Collection Rowdy Pictures, Avni Cinemax, IVY Entertainment, and B4U Motion Pictures.
With official confirmations already made and ticket bookings now open, it will be interesting to see how the film will be embraced by the audience in Japan. Natural Star Nani is currently immersed of HIT 3, with another film, The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, on his agenda. The ensemble also includes renowned performers such as Harshavardhan, Murali Sharma, Sai Kumar, and Jhansi. Backed by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainments, the film is enhanced by a compelling score from music director Jakes Bejoy. Meanwhile, his latest success, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, is preparing for an overseas debut, set to debut in Japanese theaters on 14th February, 2025. Helmed by Vivek Athreya, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, while the talented SJ Suryah takes on the role of a formidable cop and antagonist.
