Alarmingly, its earnings in Telugu have yet to surpass ₹2 crore, a disappointing figure for the film. As a result, the film is facing major difficulties at the ticket counters. Ajith’s latest film, “Pattudala,” was released in Telugu with minimal advertising and has gathered lackluster reviews across the Telugu-speaking regions. The situation in Tamil markets is just as bleak, according to insider sources. The film’s promotion was nearly non-existent, and its average, uninspiring narrative has failed to resonate with many audiences. Even on a weekend, “Pattudala” managed to achieve an audience attendance of below 30%. Unless there are drastic changes, the film’s box office prospects seem bleak. Given these discouraging numbers, “Pattudala” is set to be one of Ajith’s major disappointments in recent years. If the current trend continues, it could be pulled from theaters as soon as Monday.
